Clavister Intrusion Detection and Prevention
 |
With the Clavister Intrusion Detection and Prevention (IDP) service you get access to all the latest Clavister IDP Signatures, including the higly unique component-based signature set. The signatures are provided automatically to your Clavister Security Gateway through the Clavister Service Provisioning Network (CSPN) ensuring the highest level of security and speed of delivery. |
Clavister IDP Signatures
Relying on open-source or hand-crafted signatures with a sole focus on the attack exploit is not enough in the fast-paced world of Internet attacks. Our signatures are auto-generated with the capability to tag multiple components of an attack. This highly accurate approach enables us to detect new and mutated attacks based on the occurrence of any tagged component. This approach makes Clavister IDP unique and strong on zero-day vulnerabilities and mutated attacks.
It is not enough to react to publicly known attacks and hand-craft signatures for the known exploit. We focus on the whole security threat and deliver signatures that prevent those threats. Using advanced algorithms together with "human-in-the-loop" analysis, enables us to be proactive and quick to produce signatures that address multiple attack vectors, such as infection, payload, exploit, shellcode, etc. This ensures that you have the level of security that you need and require to maintain your business.
Updates and Coverage
New Internet attacks spread with a ferocious intensity and you need a combination of rapid signature generation and a holistic approach to curb an attack. The Clavister IDP service delivers an average of 20 new signatures per week. This enables us to generate and deliver validated signatures in hours and include complete coverage of complex attacks.
