Clavister Beta Program

Thank you for your interest in learning more about the Clavister Beta Program. The Clavister Beta Team would like to take this opportunity to give you a brief overview of the Clavister Beta Program.

Purpose of the Clavister Beta Program

The purpose of the Clavister Beta Program is to collect information pertaining to the performance, quality, stability, and functionality of new Clavister products before they are officially released. Beta Customers must agree to use pre-release products in a real world environment and report their findings back to Clavister. Beta Customers are intended to help complement the ongoing, internal testing performed at Clavister, and help us put together more solid, robust products from which everyone can benefit.

How the Beta Process Works

Depending on the product being tested, the initial Beta Program Launch Period is used to invite and sign-up Beta Customers, and prepare them for the Beta Program Testing Period. Beta Customers will use the Clavister Forums to report issues in a timely manner so that the Clavister Beta Team can prioritize for fixes in follow-up beta releases. As issues are addressed, Beta Customers will be asked to verify fixes and eventually repeat the test cycle with a new beta release, which varies depending on the program. Once the established exit criteria have been met through bug report status, and final surveys, the product under test will then proceed into the final release stages prior to being declared General Availability (GA).
