You can download VPN Tracker 2.0 for Mac OS X from http://www.equinux.com/us/products/vpntracker/, it will run for 30 days, and then you need to buy the real version from equinux Inc. The installation is just a matter of downloading the Disk Copy image and run VPN tracker from the mounted image.

Configuring the tunnel

When you start VPN Tracker for the first time you will not have any tunnels configured. To start configuring VPN Tracker choose New... to get to the configuration view.

Name

Specify the name of the tunnel.

Connection Type

Here you can choose what kind of connection type is used, choose "VPN Tracker". The Connection Type specifies the proposal lists used, when using "VPN Tracker" they are the same as the ones used in KB #10002.

Topology

Select "Host to Network" when running the Mac as a roaming VPN Client.

Local Endpoint

Select "Default Endpoint", this means that VPN Tracker will use the default network connection of your Mac for connecting the remote network.

Remote Endpoint

This is the IP address or domain name of the Clavister Firewalls external IP.

Remote Network

This is where the internal network behind the Clavister Firewall is defined. This should be identical to the Local Network specified in the VPN Tunnel configuration.

Pre-Shared Key

To add a Pre-Shared Key choose Pre-shared Key and take Edit... this will open a window looking like the one below, just add the Pre-Shared Key and click Ok.

Starting the tunnel

To start the tunnel, just use Restart IPsec to make the Mac open the tunnel, if everything works as it should the tunnel will be green after 10-20 seconds.
