New cOS Core release version 11.20 shows 50% performance increase on AV and Hyper-V introduction

Clavister AB, a leading provider of network security solutions, today announced the release of Clavister cOS Core 11.20, a release which shows significant improvements in a number of key areas.Performance of its antivirus has dramatically improved by 50%, an achievement that allows not only quicker virus scanning, but releases more processing power for other functions. This improvement affects all appliances. 

For functionalities, the 11.20 release has a simplified IPsec profile for easy configuration; IKEv2 Mobility and Multihoming Protocol (MOBIKE); EAP support for Local User Databases and IPv6 Support in User Authentication. Server Load Balancing has been improved to support a new Server Load Balancing method.

Hyper-V support is a major aspect of the 11.20 release as multiple options of hypervisor increases flexibility and deployment options while decreasing TCO by reducing hypervisor cost. This represents a significant benefit to Clavister users as VMware vSphere and KVM are already supported and fully utilized.
