New cOS Core 13.00.08 release allows quicker, easier provisioning of Clavister NetWall with Cloud-Init

Örnsköldsvik, Sweden, 27 November, 2020. Clavister, a leader in high performance cybersecurity solutions, announces the latest release of Clavister’s award winning cOS Core operating software includes new functionality to support cloud-init as a way of customizing the virtual Clavister NetWall firewall configuration as they boot up for the first time. Users can now specify a cloud-init config that will be processed before the basic configuration occurs. This allows the administrator to preconfigure the virtual firewall with networking, remote management methods and permissions; a perfect remedy in COVID-19 times as virtual firewalls are deployed remotely on uCPEs to users who are working from home offices or in large scale cloud deployments.
